Despite challenging consumer sentiment, vehicle sales rose  17 percent in the first half of 2022, following a 27 percent surge in June.

Indonesia’s new vehicle market expanded 9% to 79,168 units in June 2022 from 72,720 units a year earlier, according to industry association Gaikindo.

A total of 201,840 units of automobiles were sold in the Vietnamese market in the first half of this year, up 34% year-on-year, the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers' Association said today.
