    Synthetic rubber prices ease back from recent highs

    Synthetic rubber prices* have dropped back from the highs seen over the last few months, ChemAnalyst data, compiled exclusively for ERJ, shows. 

    Over the trading week ended 26 Aug, EPDM, nitrile and butadiene prices declined by around 4% compared to the previous week.

    However, styrene-butadiene rubber markets appeared steadier: posting a 0.4% fall in pricing compared to the previous week.

    Meanwhile, prices from butadiene monomer continued to show incremental growth, registering a 1.3% increase compared to the prior-week level.
