The European Union maintains that any trade agreement with the United States must adhere to the terms established in Turnberry, Scotland, which sets a 15% all-inclusive tariff ceiling, EU Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic said Thursday following an OECD ministerial meeting.
"This is absolutely crucial for us that at the end of the process we would end up well within the Turnberry parameters. And for us this is 15% all inclusive," Sefcovic told reporters.
