Malaysia’s natural rubber (NR) production rebounded sharply in December 2025, rising 37.3% month-on-month, although output remained significantly lower compared with the same period a year earlier, according to the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM).
Natural rubber production increased to 28,684 tonnes in December from 20,891 tonnes in November, reflecting improved tapping activity and seasonal recovery. However, on a year-on-year basis, production fell 25.1% from 38,299 tonnes recorded in December 2024.
